All Cataclysm New Class – The Goblins and Worgen

Blizzard Entertainment is no stranger to the gaming industry.  In fact, they’re one of the most popular development studios right now, having introduced us to a world of loot picking as well as some hack and slashing with a little known game called Diablo back in 1996.  They’ve established themselves as game developers back in the day, but it was this very game that catapulted them to the upper echelon of the video game industry’s elite.  Following it up with a real time strategy game featuring knights and orcs in battle with each other, Warcraft become a best seller and is considered to be one of the best RTS games of all time.  A few more sequels and spin-offs (StarCraft, anyone) later, they shifted their attention to the MMORPG community with a game that claims 62 percent of the subscription market online, World of Warcraft.  The release was so successful it inevitably spawned two hit expansions, “The Burning Crusade” and “Wrath of the Lich King,” both huge hits in their own right.  And now, their newest installment in the expansion market, “Cataclysm” is promising players a lot more variety in locations and details to their flagship title.  Aside from that you get a Cataclysm new class… well, two of them actually.  Upon release you will bear witness to the arrival of the Goblins and the Worgen!  

Goblins seem to be quite a must-include race in nearly every fantasy adventure epic, and the same goes for video gaming.  They are one of two latest additions to the franchise, and are a playable race in World of Warcraft.  These hideous creatures were once slaves to trolls in the Isle of Kezarr, constantly being forced to work in the mines by the great mountain.  However, so many things have come to change over time and they’ve started their own uprising, an important plot point in this latest expansion set.  They appear short, and have the classic “blue & green” skin tones.  They can be customized in garb and abilities, depending on the player’s personal preferences, all this made possible in the WoW character creation system.  In the plot, they once rendered and granted their services to the two main factions, The Horde and The Alliance.  However, they are now classified as a Horde class, so if you pick a goblin class you are immediately affiliated with the Horde, playing out their storyline, and doing all you can to defeat the Alliance stronghold.  Goblins can be chosen to be on of eight different classes, such as Death Knight, Hunter, Mage, Priest, Warlock, Warrior or Shaman.  Good luck to making an easy decision!

A group of feral, wolf-like beasts that prove to be a destructive force of nature, the uniquely strange Worgen race are also introduced to players everywhere.  Large in stature, hulking in appearance, they can easily rival ogres and trolls.  There isn’t much history provided about them, but they are apparently associated with the Alliance.  So, I if you want to try this new race out, you know which side you’ll be making a stand with.  They also can be chosen in different job classes such as the ones provided for the Goblins.  

Any Cataclysm New Class can prove to be a dominating force online, and with these two new additions you can easily level up and make your mark on the rest of the online gaming community!

 

 

Cataclysm New Class Combinations

Blizzards latest expansion for the World of Warcraft game has a lot of new things to offer. World of Warcraft: Cataclysm not only has new maps, new items, new missions and quests, it even has new races as well as new classes for the races already in the previous versions of the game. All the gamers are very excited about these new features and they're particularly excited about the opportunities presented by the Cataclysm new class combinations.

Each race has new classes available for them. This is going to be very exciting for those gamers who feel that the present race classes no longer has anything to offer with regards to game play. These new class combinations is sure to make them enjoy the game all the more. Take for example the new race class for the Tauren race, paladins and priests. At first glance, Tauren Paladins and Tauren Priests seem unnatural and out of place in World of Warcraft. The Tauren race becoming followers of light just seems absurd. But the backstory of the Taurens in Cataclysm will easily explain this new class. The Tauren's inherent connection to nature will mark a path of level development for the character that have similarities to Alliance paladins of the Light. The same goes for Tauren Priests. These new classes should not be treated the same way as classes of other races. They may have similarites, but there are also significant differences.

Another new race class combination is the Dwarven Mage and Shamans. Compared to the new Tauren classes, these new Dwarven classes are classes that should've been given to the Dwarves since the start of the World of Warcraft franchise. These new dwarven classes is sure to be used by players who have insisted that Dwarves should have mages and shamans since World of Warcraft started. Another expected race class is the Troll Druid. The World of Warcraft lore has established a lot of precedence for shapeshifting. There are only minimal similarities to Elven durids. They are mostly similar to Tauren Priests as the trolls seem to be turning their back on their barbaric nature and seek to be at one with nature and heal the world.

Humans and the forsaken can now become hunters. Human hunters have been non playable characters in the earlier World of Warcraft versions. It is only in Cataclysm that they have become playable characters. The lore is that the world have become more difficult to live in and humans had to rely on their hunter skills more to survive. The same goes for the forsaken. Forsaken hunters have been non playable characters called “dark rangers”. Forsaken hunters are to be considered as the elite fighting force of their race. The outcast classes are the Night Elf Mages as they are practicing what their race considers as taboo out in the open. Using a Night Elf Mage requires a unique style because of this.

There are a lot more Cataclysm new class combinations available. These class combinations are what has just been announced before the release of the game. Until the game has been released and played by many, these new class combinations won't be confirmed. There may be even a chance that some of the class combinations will be patched out if it proves to be not working.
