First Aid is one of the three secondary professions. This is the one that is mostly underappreciated and yet very crucial to all players. This is not really the top pick profession of most players for it does not attract more gold nor is as exciting as compared to other professions. This is not really the profession that you would to choose if you are thinking on being Mr. Popular on WOW. Although, all the WOW players who have sense would always know that it is safe to their First Aid skill at the maximum level. Just like in all other professions, you could learn first aid by going to your First Aid Trainer and learn from them. They are usually found in most capital cities. The moment that you have trained in First Aid, you will now be collecting cloth to form linen bandages that you will use in your first aid. There are formulas or required cloths to use in order to create your desired linen bandage. The formulas would be given to you upon training.

 

The fee that you will have to pay to be trained is only 10 coppers. The first cloth that you will use will be linen. This would be used for several more levels to come until the next material is available. Another First Aid trainer would be needed for the new materials. However, if your past trainer is no longer capable in teaching you, he would direct you to a more credible trainer anyway.

 

It is well to remember that First Aid is a must for the class with no healing abilities. Examples of these are the Hunters, Mages, Warlocks and Warriors. However, even the class with healing abilities, they could still make good use of this profession.  You can still use your skill even in PvP. First Aid is used when your character is injured by a rival player.

 

You could use your skill, the moment that you see an injury is made. Bandages come in a packaging of 20. You need to have a friendly player on the screen in order to practice your skill. You click the friendly player and also the bandage. The person you are healing should be proximal to you and should remain still the whole time healing is taking place or else it would cease and take no effect. You have to keep in mind that you could only apply one bandage to a player with a minute interval in between the next bandage. A prompt would appear when the one minute is not yet consumed. However, when the time is up, the prompt would automatically disappear and you could apply your next bandage again.

                                  

Cloths are the ones that make up your bandage as mentioned before. There a lot of different kinds of cloth that you will encounter as you progress into the game. From each of these cloths, you will be able to create a bandage that is unique from each other.

 

You can take the cloths from the drops of humanoids. This is a common thing that you will encounter in levelling making it easier for you to get your First Aid skill to the maximum.
